Description
A launch pad for future collaboration between Government and vendors to create a shared vision for the future of Next Generation Triple Zero in Australia.
What is the purpose of the event?
The NG000 Industry Engagement Forum is the first Australian event that brings a comprehensive range of Government and Industry stakeholders together to shape the future direction of Triple Zero. The Government, Emergency Service Organisations, community, vendors and industry will take the first steps toward building a dynamic, coordinated engagement model which transforms Triple Zero into a comprehensive omni-channel system that improves public safety and benefits the organisations responsible for providing emergency services to society.
Together, NECWG members have collaboratively developed a strategy for the introduction of Trip Zero services. Representatives from Police, Fire, Ambulance and SES from each state and territory along with Telstra and representatives from the Australian Government contributed to the development. PwC supported NECWG in the facilitation and drafting. The strategy has been well received and there are a number of activities currently underway and currently being planned to continue progress in line with the strategy.
This event aims to provide early indication of the direction and support required to develop innovative and new solutions to progress towards the goals of NG000 and to capture feedback and input into shaping the future strategy for NG000.
Why attend?
Official launch before the rest of the industry is engaged where you will get to meet and hear directly from industry leaders the direction NG000 is heading and play a role in shaping the strategy direction
The forum will feature a keynote address from the President of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), Christy Williams, on the design, development and implementation of Next Generation 911 in the United States. Christy will offer unique insights into the importance of innovating in the provision of emergency services and the benefits NENA gained from close collaboration with industry
There will be additional contributions from key Government, Emergency Service Organisations and Industry collaborators as well as the opportunity throughout the event to weigh in and participate in forming the vision for NG000 going forward
Attendees of this event will get a second opportunity to present ideas and products one on one to key decision makers within government and industry at a later date and the opportunity to showcase your technology and ideas.
