Beach Detectives
Streaky Bay Jetty
Thursday 16 April 10am - 12pm
Come out and explore our local beaches with Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula staff with a beach detective and sand sculptures activity for children ages 4 and upwards.
The activity will involve beach combing along the shore and provide insights into the weird and wonderful plants and animals that inhabit our coastlines and how Natural Resources staff look after them. Plus make your own sand sculpture, your favourite plant or animal found in our ocean and learn about it's cool adaptations and fun facts.
To RSVP for this family friendly event please let us know how many people in your family group intend on coming by booking the number of tickets you require to cover your family members.
The activity will start at 10am. Please meet at the Streaky Bay jetty.
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing, drinking water, sun protection, suitable footwear and any medication you require.

Come to the Streaky Bay Hotel and explore hot topics in science, marine conservation, marine wildlife and what work Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula staff are doing along our coast.
