Life as an event organiser is busy and, let’s face it, admin is the least enjoyable job of all. At Eventbrite, we understand how easy-to-use tools that simplify the event management process can be a game changer.
Our Recurring Events feature can help you sell more tickets, generate extra revenue opportunities, and save precious time – so you can spend your energy on the fun stuff.
It couldn’t be easier. Simply fill out your event details once and duplicate them for every recurring event. Psst…you can even use our AI copy tool to speed up your event listing creation.
Need to make changes after publishing? No problem. You can either do this to the original event listing, which will edit all events, or to the individual listing. The Recurring Events feature allows you to easily customize ticket pricing, add-ons, and event capacity for individual events so you can make the most out of each event in your series. What is a recurring event or event series?
A recurring event is an event that repeats a number of times at either the same or different location, usually in a block (such as a concert, or a seasonal tour), or a scheduled series of events (such as community sports practice, fortnightly workshops, or a class held at a different location each week).
There are different forms that a recurring event can take. For example, it might be a musical theatre production with performances on a Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday matinee each week for a month-long season. Or maybe it’s a weekly yoga class that meets at midday on Thursdays.
The benefits of recurring events
For an event organiser who’s busy creating a memorable experience, setting up a recurring event can pay off later.
Sell more tickets
Creating a recurring event series helps you attract more event-goers by providing them with multiple opportunities to attend your events. If they’re unable to make a specific date or location, they’ll be able to browse your events to find one that suits them. Make it impossible for them not to come to your events.
Save precious time
Instead of manually creating the event each time, you’ll be able to launch multiple events at the click of a button. Hosting the same event but at different times and venues? No problem. You can easily make changes to individual events, too.
Earn more revenue
Make adjustments to each event in your series to maximise earning potential. You can customise ticket types, offer add-ons, and change venue capacity for each event. So dream big! Why not host your popular event in an extra special venue with VIP extras? You’ll never know how you can grow until you try.
