The University of Western Australia's Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC) is an Australasian hub of medical simulation knowledge and know-how, with a highly practical approach to medical and surgical skills training.

CTEC brings together an interactive hospital environment with expert clinical educators to offer training to medical professionals from junior doctors to senior consultants in a way that supplements traditional clinical-based training. Workshops use a range of mechanical, computerised and inanimate tissues to replicate surgical procedures and scenarios, providing an authentic setting for medical professionals to learn clinical and behavioural skills.
