I’m really excited about this session. We’re going to do something a bit different this time.
There’s an awesome podcast called Crazy Town (by Post Carbon Institute, I strong recommend it). The way their episodes are structured, I’ve often thought that we could do a whole learning circle session just listening to one episode of Crazy Town.
So why not do that? The plan for this session is to:
- listen to an episode of Crazy Town
- while listening, make a mind map of the episode together
- send the mind map to the folk at Crazy Town and see if we can get them to give us a shout out in a future episode!
Who’s in?
We’ll be using miro.com to make the mind map, which works better on a laptop/computer than on a tablet/phone.
Quick warning: Crazy Town sometimes has some swear words in it.
What do you mean by 'Earth crisis'?
We're using 'Earth crisis' as a catch-all term for the numerous impending social, economic, and ecological crises. Terms like climate change, ecological overshoot, the metacrisis, food insecurity, the polycrisis, global warming etc all fall under our 'Earth crisis' umbrella term.
