Australian Nativity Scene (ANS) celebrates 21st year in creation of the Australia’s best traditional and stunning nativity scene. You are welcome to view the spectacular display of 2024.

Wilson Fernandez, the designer, creator, and artist, is renowned for his traditional nativity scene, considered one of Australia’s finest. Over the years, it has become the largest of its kind in the country. Wilson artistically crafts a village and township with handmade huts, stables, buildings, bridges, palaces, houses, and temples, all set amidst mountains, rocks, lakes, and rivers. Each week, the nativity scene presents a theme that tells the story of Christmas, featuring scenes like Mary and Joseph searching for shelter, the birth of Jesus, visits from the shepherds, the three kings' arrival, and in the final week, the Holy Family fleeing to Egypt, concluding the display.

The event is open to all, but children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cost: Free and open to all age groups.

Viewing time: Strictly by appointment only

Details: Wilson on 0428 927 110 or 9795 6217 (parish office)

Frequently asked questions

Is it a FREE event?

Australian Nativity Scene (ANS) is a free event to all age groups. Children under 15 years are to accompany with an adult or parents or guardian.

I have booked my tickets online. Do I still need to call for an appointment?

Thanks for your interest to view the Australian Nativity Scene. Even though you have got the FREE ticket online, you still need to call the organiser to book a time by calling 0428 927 110. Thank you

If I can't make it to the event on the planned day, can I re-book another time?

Yes. As a courtesy, you need to call the organiser if you have changed your mind. This enables us to allocate the time slot to others who are in queue. ANS organisers are flexible to accomodate you and your group to a mutually next available time slot of the day you prefer to visit (if available).

Why do I need to book by prior appointment?

ANS was always open to public to view the display in the past . However, due to security reasons, ANS organisers now require prior appointment (0428 927 110). This gives the viewers an opportunity to meet the creator and artist, too. You and your group can have a personalised tour to this event.

Is there access to wheel chair?

Yes, we have access to the event for people with wheel chairs.

Is there car parking available at this location?

All visitors have two possibilities - 1. Off-street parking near the venue. 2. Car park at the event location - please mention over the phone when you book for this event.

I have a group of seniors from aged care. Can I get them to this event as individuals or as group?

Certainly yes. Please call ANS organiser to make a booking and clarify your specific needs if any e.g., wheel chair access, toilet facilities, change of mind due to unexpected circumstances and get another time slot to re-book etc. We are happy to help and accommodate to suit both parties.

Can school do the booking?

Of course yes. We have always given schools a privilege to visit the ANS display in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Call ANS organiser to book school groups. We accommodate a maximum of 20-25 guests/session on the day planned to visit. Please onfirm with the organiser.

Are you closed on any other days between the start and finish date?

We are closed on Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year's day

I am running late, what are my chances?
