Do i need a ticket to watch the Derby ?

No you do not ! To race - yes, you will need a ticket !

Can i purchase tickets on the day of the event ?

Yes, you can. We do however strongly encourage you to purchase tickets in advance of the event online and fill out the scrutineering forms in advance of the day. We are a community based event with volunteer staffing - and everything we can do to streamline the event is encouraged

Are the shops in the main street all open for business ?

Yes - the town is not closed off ! You wont be able to navigate through the main street in a vehicle, it is closed off ! See our traffic management plan on our website. All the shops are open and enjoy a great day of trade on one of Bangalow's busiest days !

Where is the best place to park if we are attending the event ?

If you are coming from the East side of Bangalow, the showgrounds offers parking and a short walk to the event in the main street. The west side offers on street parking on Bangalow Lismore road as you approach Bangalow as well is in the surrounding streets. It is a busy day and parking fills up !
