Welcome to 80s-90s DDD Disco Day Dancing

Come join us at the COURTHOUSE HOTEL (Yes we have moved - we are now the ROVING DDDs) - with a blast from the past! Get ready to move to all your favourite hits from the 80s 90s and beyond. Our DJ has 1000s of tunes and takes requests. Dust off those leg warmers & neon outfits because we're throwing it back with the best tunes of the era!!

Whether you are a seasoned dancer or just looking for fun, this event is perfect for everyone. So grab your friends, put on those dancing shoes, and get ready to boogie…. then you can GO ON or GO HOME…Don't wait until LATE and as we are in the CHH you can go downstairs and finish off with a meal!!!

As we are in the JUDGEMENT room (1st floor) a prize for the legal eagle Disco-er ! - as well as the usual drink vouchers & door prizes

Yes and we take Cash or PayID

What is the dress code ?

Nothing specific - 80s 90s etc bling if you wish! and a legal theme if you want to be considered for the inaugral legal eagle disco-er title (and this can be anything) But actually anything goes ....

What is the age group?

Any age over 18, but a lot are a little older than that! What we have found is that anyone who loves this music loves this event. We have had young dancers who did not know the music in the 80s but now love it, and those of us who remember that time, & music!!

Can we buy food ?

Yes the CHH has a full Bistro menu - great food great drinks great dancing

Are there seats?

Oh yes yes yes all over the place

How do we get there ?

The CHH is very central. The 311 bus passes right by as well as other bus routes from KX and the city. At this time, parking is also possible in the area.

When does the dancing start ?

Right away people come and start dancing !

When is the next event ?

We hope it will be in October - possibly Saturday October 5th or maybe the Sunday ? Let us know what you think ? It is a long weekend! We have an event locked in Saturday 9th November at the Kings Cross Hotel Bordello room 4-8pm & this has been a really popular venue.
