Youth School Holiday Event: Easy Etching - Printmaking Workshop (12-18 yrs)

Explore the art of printmaking in this workshop as you learn to create your own reusable etching plate for endless printing possibilities.

Drypoint etching is a printmaking process in which a design is drawn on a plate with a sharp, pointed needle-like instrument. The resulting lines create a textured surface that holds ink, which is then transferred onto paper to create your print.

This is a free event for those aged between 12-18 years.

Please be aware, printmaking can be messy, don't arrive in your favourite clothes.

• The event is for ages 12 to 18 years.
• Bookings are essential. We are unable to accommodate anyone without a valid ticket.
• You must be a Library member to attend. Library membership is free and you can sign up at any branch or online today.
• If you are unable to attend please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.
• Tickets are not transferrable.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.
• Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
• Your ticket can be cancelled by the organiser at any time without further notice.
