This isn’t just a cooking class. It’s a journey — a series of gatherings where we’ll explore Spain one region at a time, through the tapas, pintxos and traditions that make each place unique.
Each class in A Taste of Spain is dedicated to a different region. From the bold flavours of Madrid’s tapeo, to the fresh seafood of Galicia, the fire of Andalusian spices, or the richness of the Basque Country — every month, we’ll discover the dishes that tell the story of that place.
We’ll cook together, we’ll taste, we’ll sip, and — above all — we’ll connect. Because Spanish cooking is never just about food. It’s about gathering around a table, sharing stories, laughing loudly, and turning recipes into memories.
First stop: Madrid and its Tapas Culture

What we’ll cook & enjoy together:
- The perfectly cooked Spanish Tortilla (yes, with a little ooze!)
- Gildas and pintxos — little bites full of flavour
- Crispy Pan Tumaca with olive oil that tastes like summer
- A Spanish cheese & cured meat board
- Croquetas from La Croquetería
- My family’s sangria recipe (naturally!)
- And a sweet surprise to finish… let’s just say, cheesecake lovers, you’re in for a treat.
