Stories of loss find a place to heal in this lovely garden. The Place of Reflection includes the beautiful Marlee Pavilion with views across the Swan River. Hear how the surrounding landscape has been carefully designed to enhance a connection with nature, to engender a sense of peace, healing, hope and renewal. Experience its restorative power.

Start Time: 10.00 am sharp. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early plus allow time for parking.

Meeting Location: Roe Gardens and Memorial, Forrest Drive, Kings Park

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Duration: Approximately 1 hr.

Distance: Approximately 500 m

Difficulty: An easy walk on made paths.

Accessibility: This walk is suitable for wheelchairs, prams or mobility aids. We encourage you to contact the Visitor Information Centre (9480 3634) if you have any questions.

What to wear and bring: Comfortable enclosed walking shoes are recommended. Bring sunscreen, hat and water and a raincoat (weather dependent).

Weather: This walk will go ahead if it is raining but in the event of severe weather or fire risk it may be cancelled. Check the notices section of the Kings Park website https://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/notices for cancellation information.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION: To give walkers the best experience our numbers are limited and booking is required. The booking fee is not refundable. Our walks are popular so we ask that you please cancel prior to the day if you know you will not be able to attend. The majority of those that cannot attend a walk cancel before the event. Hopefully, there will be another day that will suit you.
