Experience the last meal of Australia’s most infamous outlaw—reimagined by Scott Pickett. This four-course dinner delves into the flavours and dishes that
Ned Kelly might have chosen for his final meal, had he been given the chance. Each course reflects the rich, rugged tastes of the meats and flavours he could only dream of while awaiting his fate as he sat in his cell at the Old Melbourne Gaol.
The menu is a culinary journey through Victoria’s history, tracing the paths of the goldfields, Glenrowan, and Milawa, culminating in Melbourne, just as Kelly’s story did.
Held in the atmospheric Watch House at Old Melbourne Gaol, the evening features four meticulously paired courses with wines from All Saints Winery, and the food designed by Melbourne's own 'wild colonial boy' Scott Pickett.
The night will also include a Little Lon Distillery cocktail to sip as you wander on a National Trust-hosted talk and tour that delves into Ned Kelly’s life and legend with Kelly’s story unfolding right up to the dramatic conclusion at the gallows.
