We are thrilled to invite you to a special community event dedicated to the strength, resilience, and empowerment of Aboriginal women and children. This gathering will be held at the beautiful Rydges Port Macquarie on Birpai Country, which aims to raise awareness, provide support, and celebrate the vital role of Aboriginal-led & Managed services in creating safe spaces for those in need.
🗓 Date: 23rd - 24th June 2025
⏰ Time: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm each day - Registrations from 9:00 am each day.
📍 Location: Birpai Country 🪃 - Rydges, Port Macquarie NSW

This event will highlight the invaluable work of our Aboriginal-led & Managed women and children's refuges, which provides a safe and supportive environment for Aboriginal women and children experiencing family violence, homelessness, and other challenges. Through culturally appropriate services and healing programs, we aim to empower individuals and create pathways to long-term stability and success.

We welcome community members, allies, and supporters to join us as we strengthen our efforts to ensure that Aboriginal women and children have access to the care, safety, and respect they deserve.
Eligibility to Attend:
⚫️ Up to 4 staff from each Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) led Core and Cluster Service.
🟡 Up to 4 staff from each Aboriginal Women's and Children's Refuge (ACCO-owned and operated).
🔴 Up to 4 staff from each Aboriginal-Managed Women's Refuge/Safe House.
