Pre-Conference Master Class Workshop with Dr Nick Gore
This year we are pleased to announce a Masterclass workshop with Dr Nick Gore. This will take place on Wednesday the 11th June from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Tickets will be limited and those who wish to attend the masterclass must also purchase a conference ticket.
Lived Experience, Practice-Based Evidence and Research in Positive Behavioural Support
Dr Gore is a clinical psychologist and behavioural scientist. Nick’s clinical and research work focuses on systems and interventions that promote good lives for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and those who care for and support them. Nick has a special interest in Positive Behavioural Support and is committed to working in partnership across communities and cultures to develop resources and research that support integration of the values, theories and technologies of a PBS framework in practice. Nick has been the lead author of publications that defined PBS in the UK (Gore et al., 2013; 2022) that are of international interest.
