Presented by Caroline Logan and Lisa Davies with LSC Psychology

This series of five advanced training courses run in Australia, focuses on enhancing the risk assessment and management skills of experienced practitioners across various high-risk areas. Topics include structured professional judgment (SPJ) for sexual violence, organized crime, modern slavery, human trafficking, violent extremism, and grievance-fueled violence, as well as understanding the link between personality problems and violence risk, particularly in family settings. Additional sessions cover managing insider threats in the workplace, assessing suicidal and self-harm risks, and handling violence in institutional environments like prisons and hospitals. Each course combines theoretical knowledge with practical case studies, using tools like HCR-20 V3, RSVP V2, and MLG V2 to develop effective, evidence-based risk management strategies tailored to complex, evolving challenges.
