Join us for the AGSM 2023 Professional Forum: Adaptive Leadership in an Accelerating World.

Adaptive leadership is a leadership tool for our times. Mainstream leadership frameworks often rely on a heroic, visionary individual at the top of an organization to chart a course and marshal people along a path towards achievement of pre-defined solutions. But leaders today need to respond dynamically, creatively and respectfully to problems, emerging crises and ambiguous system and worldview changes.

The Forum will open with a keynote delivered by Adjunct Professor Farayi Chipungu from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Then, we’ll hear from a panel of industry experts on the ‘real world’ application of Adaptive Leadership practices. The final session of the day will be an interactive Masterclass designed and delivered by subject matter experts from the UNSW Academy of Adaptive Leadership.

Participants will enhance their capacity to apply the principles of adaptive leadership, and gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between leadership, change, and complexity. Additionally, they will learn to evaluate business decisions and practices in light of economic, social, environmental, and technological factors.
