Frequently asked questions

How many tickets can I order?

You can order one ticket which will allow one person plus a carer / family member to attend.

Is there food provided?

No, but you’re welcome to bring along some snacks or water if you’d like. Since the trip is only 30 minutes, we don’t expect you’ll need much, but feel free to bring anything that makes you more comfortable.

Is there a toilet onboard?

Yes, there is a toilet on board, but it is not wheelchair accessible and may be more suitable for those without mobility restrictions. However, there is an accessible toilet at the boat ramp, which can be used at anytime.

Is there a cost?

No, this is a free event. We’re happy to offer these 30-minute trips at no cost as part of our commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, booking is essential as spaces are limited and our trips often fill up quickly.

Can I bring a support worker or carer?

Absolutely! Support workers or carers are more than welcome to join you on the trip. When you book 1 x ticket, this will allow you to bring a plus one.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sun protection, as you’ll be outdoors. You may also want to bring a hat and sunglasses for extra comfort on the water.

Is the boat wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our new boat is fully accessible for people with mobility needs, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the experience.

What if I am running late?

If you're running late, please let us know as soon as possible. However, as our trips are scheduled back-to-back and may have other guests booked, we’re unfortunately unable to delay the departure. We recommend arriving a little early to ensure you don’t miss out on your experience.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. If the weather is unfavourable, we may need to cancel the trip. We’ll monitor conditions closely and notify you as soon as possible if any changes are necessary.

Can I bring more than one person?

Due to the limited space and the fact that this is a free event, we kindly ask that you limit your booking to one additional person. This helps ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to enjoy the experience. Thank you for your understanding!

Will my wheelchair fit on the ramp to access the boat?

The access way is 750mm wide. We have currently had a variety of manual and electric wheelchairs on the ramps but best to check your measurements.
