Townsville ADF members and families, come along to the 2025 Welcome & Information Expo at Townsville Stadium on Saturday 8th February 2025 from 9:30am- until 12:00pm. Free entry!
Doesn't matter if you're new to Townsville or been here a while, all Defence members and their families are welcome!
Discover what the Townsville region has to offer you and your family, with over 100 exhibitors including local community and sporting groups, Government organisations and other service providers. You’ll also be able to meet the Townsville DMFS team in person.
Grab yourself a ticket and bring the whole family along. With giveaways, interactive activities and food and drinks available to purchase – there’ll be something for everyone!
Townsville Stadium has onsite parking and dedicated disabled spaces. There is additional offsite street parking available along Murray Lyons Cres.
You should carefully read the following information to ensure you are aware of all requirements relating to this event. This information is regularly updated and may not be the same as information on previous DMFS events you may have registered for.
Important ticketing information:
- While tickets to this event are free, registration is essential so book now!
- When registering for a ticket, please ensure you provide your best contact details.
- If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day please stay at home.
- When registering for the event, please register for a ticket for yourself and each person attending (including every baby, toddler and child).
- Ensure that the email address you register with is accurate as you will receive your booking confirmation, and any additional information or changes to the event, by email.
- Parents are required to remain onsite to supervise their children.

- If you become unable to attend the event, please cancel your booking by clicking on the link in your confirmation email ‘View and manage your order online’. This takes you to your ‘Tickets’ page where you can choose the ‘Cancel my Order’ option to release the tickets back to the event listing.
Cancellation or Postponement:
- This event will be cancelled or postponed in situations of a severe inclement weather event e.g. heavy rain, severe storms, electrical storms or cyclone.
*Photographs will be taken at all DMFS events. Please let our staff know if you do not want your family to be photographed. Photos may be used on our social media channels or in a DMFS publication.
