Explore the modern world of miniature art in this exhibition of 50 exquisite artworks showcasing the wide ranging talent of members of the Australian Society of Miniature Art (NSW).
On display will be drawings, paintings, original prints and mixed media, with subject matter ranging from traditional landscapes and still life through to contemporary abstracts, and all no larger than 40cm in perimeter.
These collectable works convey all the beauty and power of larger works, but have the added appeal of being a particularly personal object, drawing the viewer in for a closer look at the detail that is an intrinsic part of this art form.
All artworks are available for sale.
The exhibition runs from 12 to 25 May at St Ives Village Gallery. Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm.
