About this event

Research conducted last year told us that whilst we’re well liked by the small proportion of people who know us, the vast majority don’t know who The Australian National University is or what we stand for.

The ANU Story is a project designed to bring the way we talk about the University together into a coherent and cohesive whole to ensure everyone knows what sets ANU apart.

It will bring the University to life, through unified words, images and symbols and give us the tools to speak with one voice.

In order for the ANU Story to be embedded as part of our culture we need to talk to as many of the community as possible to ensure what is being presented is an authentic articulation of ANU.

In this presentation you will:

  • Learn more about the Project and how it will better tell our story as Australia’s national university to the wider community.
  • Discover how research conducted in 2019 has informed how we will express ANU through consistent images, symbols and language.
  • Have the opportunity to provide feedback on the ANU Story.

This project aims to tell our story in a way that makes our community proud to be here, makes potential students and staff want to join us and makes partners, donors, government, industry and others want to work with us and support us. We look forward to working with you to ensure its success.

ANU Story is a project to better tell our story as Australia’s national university to the wider community.

The ANU Story will articulate what is distinctive about ANU so that people instantly know who and what ANU is and stands for whenever we are seen or heard.
