Frequently asked questions

How many artists will be in the exhibition?

I am hoping for 10-20 exhibitors. The Shop Gallery is well lit with plenty of space to showcase a variety of works and create an intriguing display which will showcase a variety of art forms as well as the style and technique of the participating artists.

If I join the Exhibition, do I HAVE to do an Artist Talk?

You don't HAVE to do an Artist Talk, but doing an artist talk is a great way for other artists, and exhibition visitors to learn about you, your arts practice, and improves "cultural literacy" in society. Artist talks educate the audience, and I want people to walk out of this show knowing more.

Why should I pay to exhibit when I can put photos of my art online for free?

Putting photos online, for free, has created a really boring society where everyone is sitting in front of their computer or interacting with their phone, and not talking to each other, or being inspired by their local culture, community, or other people in proximity. Bring back the art scene!
