The Contemporary Sydney Fine Arts Group Exhibition of 2025 has:

Two painters, a sculptor and a printmaker committed to exhibit from 5-11 June 2025 and present Artist Talks on Saturday 7th June 2025.

We are looking to fill the rest of the gallery space with INTERESTING FINE ARTS WORKS!

Paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, assemblage - this exhibition is an opportunity for emerging visual artists to join a cohort of Sydney based artists and experience or re-experience an artist-run-initiative Art Show.

See works up close - meet the artists - join us for a week of festivities - sell works - hand out promos - present at the Saturday afternoon Artist Talks - join a real life community doing real life things.

The exhibition is run on a not for profit basis will all fees going back into catering and marketing overheads.

Why should I enter an art exhibition?

It is an experience beyond making works - showing them to other people and having your work side by side with diferrent mediums.

Will I sell Art?

Art Sales can't be guaranteed but people will and do buy art. They will purchase to support you or because they like the work, or both. But, art is not a consumer product - it takes a long time to produce and is the subject of individual taste.

Do I have to do a Speech?

You can do a speech, a presentation, a demonstration - anything that communicates your ideas to the other artists, and the audience. People are very interested in how others do their works so the Artist Talks afternoon is an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas, and meet people, and get inspired

Why do I have to pay to Exhibit?

The Shop Gallery is an established gallery with a good reputation amongst professional artists. This exhibition isn't paid for by a grant - it's an artist run initiative, for artists: by artists. You need to pay to cover overheads and advertising for a professionally run exhibition.
