Join an Astronomer visiting from the Gravity Discovery Centre and learn about space, planets and distant galaxies.
SESSION SCHEDULE
Presentation
Sessions commence with a short presentation from an Astronomer.
Laser Guided Tour
Following the presentation, we will head out to the telescope viewing area where an Astronomer conducts a 5-minute laser guided tour of the night sky, highlighting constellations, planets and satellites (where visible).
Telescopic Observation
You will then be welcomed to observe the view through the telescopes. The telescopes will have been preset to view a different point of interest. The Astronomer will be on hand to explain what is observable through the telescopes and answer any questions.
