Auslan 101 is an introductory Auslan (Australian SIgn Language) course and is the perfect place to start learning Auslan to communicate with people who are Deaf.

This course will happen across three days:

  • Monday 2 December 2024: 1.30pm - 5pm
  • Wednesday 4 December 2024: 12.30pm - 5pm
  • Thursday 5 December 2024: 12.30pm - 4.30pm

You must be able to attend all 3 days to obtain certificate.

Features of this course:

  • Your Auslan teacher will be Deaf or a member of the Deaf community
  • You will be learning a visual language
  • You will be immersed in a Deaf learning environment
  • You will receive digital Auslan resources to support your learning that you can use from any device
  • There are no assessments for this course
  • Suitable for service professionals such as medical staff, police, emergency and welfare workers who wish to add to their skills

This course is face to face, and runs over 3 days for a total of 12 hours. You will receive a certificate for attending this course.

This course is for young people 16 - 24 years old!
