For children aged 6 to 12 years.

Children will learn the basics of Auslan including greetings, alphabet, colours and animals with Nobuo Hara.

This activity is for children aged 6 to 12 years You do not have to book for adults accompanying children. The event is free, but bookings are essential.

Children aged under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Please contact the library if you have access requirements.

Remember to cancel your booking if you are unable to attend once you have booked as there may be a waitlist and the ticket can be released for someone else to enjoy.

About Nobuo Hara: Nobuo grew up in Japan with a hearing family. Growing up deaf, Nobuo experienced significant disadvantages due to his peers and educators not understanding the importance of sign language. Nobuo has taught Auslan classes and LOTE with Access Plus WA Deaf for over 12 Years. You can learn more about Nobuo on his website.
