If you’ve been waiting for the latest exploits of DS Cormac Reilly, your wait is almost over!
'Taut, dense and darkly addictive. A treat for lovers of fine crime writing.' Candice Fox
Out at the end of April, The Unquiet Grave is the fourth instalment in the Cormac Reilly series and follows Cormac as he investigates a mysterious murder in the boglands of Galway, the body mutilated in a ritualistic manner.
With slow progress on the case, the detective is also distracted when his ex-girlfriend asks for help finding her new husband who’s disappeared under suspicious circumstances in Paris. The investigation in Galway takes a turn when more bodies are discovered, despite a suspect being arrested, leading Cormac to grapple with whether a serial killer is at work.
Dervla McTiernan grew up in Ireland and worked there as a lawyer, before relocating to Western Australia which she now calls home with her husband and two children.
Join the author live in conversation with ABC Gold Coast’s Bern Young, as she talks about the inspiration behind her likeable Irish detective and the chilling plotlines that she creates.
