  • Event lasts 6 hours 30 minutes

You'll be learning the fundamentals of writing a non-fiction book as well as hearing from established and rising authors who will be sharing their wisdom and their journey with you.

The morning session includes everything from -

  • How to structure your book.
  • How to get the information out of your head and onto the page in a way that will resonate with your target audience.
  • How to use the Hero's Journey framework to incorporate story telling principles to connect with the reader.
  • The pros and cons of the various publishing options available to you.
  • Strategies to promote your book.
  • Gunnar Habitz who is a multi time author will be talking about his latest book "Connect and Act - Systematic Social Selling: A practical guide for using LinkedIn for your profile, pleasure and profit" as well as sharing the tactics he uses to make sure his books get noticed and don't wind up sitting on Amazon and going nowhere.
  • Karen Crombie is an author herself, however she is dedicating her session to explaining the fundamentals of editing (which is her core business), and sharing her experience of being the late Queen Elizabeth's editor back in the day.
  • Chris Ross is a first time author who will be sharing her journey with you.

The afternoon is jam packed with fabulous authors including -


  • Jennifer Keogh will be talking about her recently released book called "How to Heal Toxic Relationships: Five Stages to Overcome Past Hurts, Rebuild Your Life, and Embrace the Joyful Future You Deserve".
  • Jo Worthy will be launching her second anthology called "Rising Into Greatness:Stories from inspiring and courageous women".
  • Jodanna Goddard will be talking about her chapter in "Rising Into Greatness".
  • Jules Brooke will be talking about how authors can generate free publicity.
  • Michael Kramer will be sharing the stories of the three generations of men in his family that he included in his book called "His Forefathers and Mick".

There will be opportunities for you to ask questions at various times throughout the event. Frequently asked questions

Do I have to stay for the whole day?

You're welcome to come and go as you like, as long as you don't walk in front of the stage when someone is speaking.

Can I bring food or drinks into the Auditorium.

You certainly can. In fact the cafe is positioned right next to the Auditorium where the event is being held. We only ask that you make as little noise as possible if you are opening packaging.
