Curious about which dressings you can—and can’t—cut?

Then this practical workshop is perfect for you!

Most workshops focus on the ‘what.’ This one is all about the ‘how’!


Focusing on the basics of wound care, Dr. Michelle Gibb will be discussing the principles of wound assessment and dressing selection.

There will be plenty of practical workshop activities to enhance the learning process, as well as opportunities to engage with industry partners.

Attendees will be able to use the time spent in the seminar towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Attendees will also take part in a Trade Show event before, during and after the seminar to meet with suppliers from a wide range of wound care and wound care adjacent industries.

  • Learn more about the challenges in wound care and strategies to help overcome them
  • Identify the principles of wound assessment and dressing selection
  • Engage in practical workshop activities to enhance skills in :
  1. Wound measurement
  2. Selection and application of barrier preparations and emollients
  3. Performing wound hygiene including wound cleansing and debridement
  4. Strategies to assist with dressing application and removal
  5. Identify the difference between pressure injuries and incontinence associated dermatitis
  6. Recognising pressure off-loading and redistribution strategies
  • Participate in an interactive case study activity
