About this event

Our distillery is a working distillery and is not always open to the public. We are however excited to be able to offer regular guided tours of the Bakery Hill Distillery.

The 90 minute event includes a detailed guided tour of the distillery, conducted by a distiller itself where you will learn how Bakery Hill produces its malts. Touch, smell and taste all the exciting elements of Single Malt Whisky production. Munch on malted barley, smell the peat, and try spirit straight from a barrel!

The tour also includes a tasting of the core Bakery Hill Single Malt range (6 samples) and the opportunity to purchase our distillery only whisky bottlings and enjoy exclusive tour discount prices.

Bakery Hill is the longest established Single Malt Whisky Distillery in mainland Australia. Based in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Bakery Hill has long been regarded as "The Dark Horse" of the Australian Whisky industry. The distillery was honoured to receive the award of the "Best Small Distillery Whisky in the World" by the Whisky Bible in 2005. This is a unique opportunity to learn about whisky production and of course tasting from the actual founder and distillers from a globally recognised single malt whisky distillery.
