Basket weaving Workshop

Create a small basket to put your own bits in! Working with a little skill and dexterity, you will stitch and wrap around a cord to build a coiled basket, which you can take home. Beware – this does become a little addictive! This is an introduction to coiled basket weaving using raffia, cotton and coloured cord.

All materials that you need will be provided.

Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly.

Venue: Located in the Ground Floor Meeting Room in the Wanneroo Library & Cultural centre, 3 Rocca Way, Wanneroo.

Parking: Ample parking in the surrounding streets and in the Wanneroo Shopping Centre carpark.

Cost: $30
