About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Heartwood Nature Bathing warmly offers a special workshop where you will learn to weave not one, but TWO styles!

You will learn the wheat ear stitch, as well as the spiral stitch. (Check my other events for other stitch styles!)

These stitches can be used to make wall hangings, baskets, vases... and anything else you might dream up.

No prior experience is needed for this experience, which will help you cultivate a sense of calm, creativity and connection.

Where?

This small group experience takes at Vacant Assembly, an accessible indoor gallery venue in West End. Parking is available on site, and there is a bus stop directly outside.

Details of where to meet on the day will be provided via email 48 hours prior to the event - please ensure you use the correct email to register! Eventbrite's emails can sometimes wind up in your spam/junk folder so be sure to check there if nothing arrives, or get in touch!

What to expect?

This 2.5-hour event has a maximum of 12 participants, and is suitable for people 12 years and over.

No prior experience is necessary and all materials are provided.

You can expect to begin two small works, and you will take home the skills needed to complete larger projects.

You will also receive guidance on shaping and finishing your works.

What to bring?

All materials are provided, along with tea/coffee and light snacks. You just need to bring:

  • Yourself, and an open heart!
  • Wear clothes you feel comfortable in.
  • Plus a bag or backpack to store your keys and personal items

Cancellation policy

Refunds are available for cancellations requested up to 48 hours before the event start time. Please note that the Eventbrite booking fee is non-refundable.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are not eligible for a refund. This is because of costs already incurred in preparing for the event, including perishable supplies, materials, permits, and venue hire. However, if I am able to re-sell your spot to another participant, a full refund (excluding the Eventbrite fee) will be provided.

If an event is affected by inclement weather, or cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be issued.

Thank you for your understanding and support!
