Battle at Bond: A Live Esports Competition

Have you ever wanted to experience an esports live event?

Experience the excitement of our live esports competition, designed to thrill everyone involved. Scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Basil Sellers Theatre, Bond University, this event features teams of four players each showcasing their best Fortnite skills in an exciting live esports event! The event will also provide participants with health and wellbeing practices tailored to high-performing gamers.

We invite students, parents, supporters, the public, and Bond University students and staff to join us in cheering for these talented individuals and celebrating their dedication to esports. Your presence will enhance the excitement and create a supportive atmosphere.

In addition to the main event, we offer additional gaming areas for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or simply looking to immerse yourself in the world of esports, there's something for everyone. The event also includes health and wellbeing practices tailored to high-performing gamers, with expert-led sessions to enhance physical and mental wellbeing.

Join us for a day filled with esports action, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments at the Battle at Bond.

Free Fortnite Parkour Event:

• Timed Parkour Event (2 minutes) - highest score wins.
• To have another go, perform a physical activity.
• Prizes on offer for the best performing

Workshops and Activities:

• Kids Helpline Workshop at 12 pm
• Food & Drink: Bond University Lakeside open for food and drink throughout the event

Competitions:

1. Parkour Competition: Open to anyone.

2. Olympic Fortnite Map from the Olympic Esports Event.

3. Fortnite Duos Event: Schools only.
