Volunteering Queensland, in partnership with Toowoomba Regional Council, invites you to attend a workshop to assist in re-energising your volunteer program and management processes, that can assist you recruit new volunteers and learn about the best practices in managing and leading volunteers.
Join staff from Volunteering Queensland, who will walk you through the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement, allowing you the chance to review your organisation’s program and engagement with volunteers. The workshop can assist you in recruiting and retaining volunteers to carry out the vital services and programs you provide the local community.
You can also ask questions on how to recruit and keep volunteers, what are the current trends, discuss the issues currently facing your organisation since the pandemic, and network with your local volunteer organisations to share your success stories of volunteers in your organisation.
This workshop is suitable for volunteer organisation office bearers, volunteer coordinators and managers – including community groups, church groups, youth and children’s groups, event committees, allied health or social welfare groups.
