About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Clagiraba is situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland. It combines bush and rainforest environments, and hosts many species uncommon to other areas of the Gold Coast and Brisbane, such as Grey Goshawk, White-bellied Cuckooshrike, Common Bronzewing and Wompoo Fruit-Dove. Koalas are often spotted here too. The walk is easy with unsealed paths, however, there are some minor slopes and there is one creek crossing (the council has installed proper stepping-stones).

At the end of the walk, we’ll have a quick BYO morning tea and go through the bird list.

There are no public toilets at this site. The closest publicly accessible toilets is approximately 10 minutes away.

This event is free and is hosted by Birds Queensland, therefore no donation is required.
