About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours

Join us for the Opening Event of the Monash Design Health Collab Blurring Boundaries Exhibition

What will healthcare look like in the home of the future? In this hands-on, creative workshop, students from across disciplines will explore the intersection of design, technology, and health. Through speculative design methods, participants will generate new ideas for medical devices, services, and care models that could shape everyday wellbeing. No prior experience is required—just an open mind and a willingness to experiment! Selected outcomes will be featured as part of the evolving exhibition.

The closing panel brings together experts from design, health, technology, and policy to reflect on insights from the exhibition and workshops. Panelists will discuss the evolving role of design in shaping home-based care, the implications for health equity, and the future of personalised, connected wellbeing.

Join us for this thought-provoking conversation, where we will explore key takeaways, emerging questions, and the next steps in reimagining healthcare beyond hospital walls. Audience participation is encouraged, and there will be time for Q&A.
