ONE-ON-ONE WITH FELICITY PLUKETT Writer Conversations // Saturday 2 November // Venue: Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Circular Room // Part of the 2024 Blue Mountains Writers' Festival

How do you make room in your life for the poems that you read and write? In this one-to-one session, you’ll be able to bring along one of your own poems to discuss with writer, editor and poet Felicity Plunkett.

Felicity’s expertise and gentle guidance makes her one of Varuna’s most sought after mentors. In this 30-minute session, you can ask questions and receive feedback on your work, finding sustenance and inspiration for your creative practice.

Felicity Plunkett is a poet and critic. She is the author of A Kinder Sea (UQP), Vanishing Point (UQP) and the chapbook Seastrands (Vagabond) and editor of Thirty Australian Poets (UQP). She is a widely published writer of reviews, essays and the occasional short story. She has a PhD from the University of Sydney, and was awarded an Excellence in Teaching Award during her years teaching full-time in universities. She was Poetry Editor with University of Queensland Press and has extensive experience as a mentor and creative editor.
