About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

"Focus Ace" is a children's picture book aimed at children ages 4-7 years old, featuring Ace, a neurodivergent Thingy who is going to school. Ace is trying their best, but finds themselves getting more and more overwhelmed...eventually resulting in a meltdown. You will be able to read along and find out what Ace's class mates do to help.

Focus Ace is a book which is based on Jacky's own experiences and observations as an autistic teacher/educator. It features tools that assist those with sensory needs in order to help them cope.

This book is great for neurodivergent people to see themselves represented in an authentic way, but will also help neurotypical people understand why we may need sensory tools.

Copies of the book can be purchased for $19.95

Fun activities for families and light refreshments available on the day.

Suitable for families with younger children ages 4-7 years. Bookings essential.
