Breakfast with Garry Pratt

Garry was born in Bendigo, Victoria. He became a Locomotive Engineer with Vic Rail. From age 32, he was self-employed doing various businesses. He subsequently moved to Perth and worked in retail management. Garry then started his own fencing contracting business. He is now semi-retired, working in retail.
He became a Christian at 24 years old, coming out of the motorcycle scene. From his early walk with the Lord, missions became a focus. Garry was very involved with his church in Bendigo. He was called to Perth with 2 other couples to begin a work in the northern suburbs. He became involved with Full Gospel Business (FGB). The Lord subsequently led him to move to Busselton.
He continued to be involved in FGB, becoming a Chapter President. He established the People of Destiny International (POD) initially with a mission focus. In the last 24 years, he has concentrated on the POD ministries in the Philippines. It has grown to more than 30 churches with the support and enabling of people there. A POD church was established in Busselton 10 years ago with Garry as the Senior Pastor. Garry’s focus is on marketplace ministry.
Garry is married and has 2 daughters.
