About Professor Michael Stacey
Professor Michael Stacey is an award-winning architect with over 40 years of experience. He is currently an Academic Partner at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London and previously the director of the Architecture and Tectonics Research Group at the University of Nottingham.
He led the International Aluminium Institute’s ‘Towards Sustainable Cities’ research programme, which focused on quantifying the benefits of aluminium in architecture and the built environment. As part of this research, Stacey has authored a wide range of publications.
Stacey’s passion and commitment to design excellence has also seen him also develop prefabricated cladding and façade systems, which includes the system used by architect Philip Cox on the Melbourne Tennis Centre.
