Event Details
- Date: [Saturday10th May 2025]
- Venue: Easy Times Brewery, Australia. 20 Loagn Rd, Wooloongabba QLD
- Entry Fee: $25 per player
- 2 Competitions:
- 501 Double Out: A classic darts game where players start from 501 and must hit a double to finish.
- Cricket 200: A fun, fast-paced game that allows players to hit numbers (15-20 & Bullseye, 3 times) with a points system only allowing you to be 200 points in front at a time. After opening a number by hitting it 3 times, your opponent can choose to close a number to stop the scoring or open another number to point themselves. Winner is who can close every number 3 times and have more points than the other player.
Tournament Divisions
The tournament will be split into 3 divisions to ensure fair play and competitiveness for everyone:
- Division 1 – Professional Players: This division is for experienced players with a high level of skill and precision. Rating 11./MASTER
- Division 2 – Advanced Players: For players with good experience and an intermediate skill level. Rating 7.0/10.0
- Division 3 – Novice Players: For beginners or players who are just starting to get the hang of soft tip darts. Rating 0/6.0
- RATINGS - Please use the rating system as a guide. If your not sure where you belong please contact tournament organiser and ask.
Tournament Format
The format of the tournament will depend on the number of entries:
1. Traditional Draw Format with Plate Divisions
- Initial Rounds: Players will be randomly drawn into brackets, playing Best of 5 games in both events (501 Double Out and Cricket 200).
- Plate Division: For those who lose in the early rounds, there will be a Plate Division, giving players a second chance to compete for consolation prizes.
- Winners and Runners-Up: Prizes will be awarded for the winners and runners-up in each division for both events.
2. Round Robin Format
- Group Stage: Players will be divided into groups, where each player will face off against every other player in their group in both events. Each match will be Best of 5 games.
- Round Robin Scoring: Points will be awarded based on match results (e.g., 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss).
- Top Players Advancing: The top players from each group will advance to the knockout rounds for the final stages, where they will compete for the championship in each event.
- Plate Division: There will also be a Plate Division in the Round Robin format, for players who do not make it to the knockout rounds, giving everyone a chance for more competitive play.
Money and Prizes
- Winners & Runners-Up: Cash and prizes for the Winners and Runners-Up of each event in each division (501 Double Out and Cricket 200).
- Plate Winners: Prizes for the Plate Division winners as well.
- Additional Prizes: Fun and exciting spot prizes throughout the tournament!
Saturday Night Fun & Entertainment
- After the intense darts action, wind down with a Saturday Night Fun event featuring live entertainment at Easy Times Brewery. Enjoy tasty beers, good vibes, and easy times with fellow players and fans. It's the perfect way to cap off a thrilling day of competition and camaraderie.
