About this event

Children aged 6 to 12 years old can read books on the topics below then bring a book they want to talk about to the reading camp at Clarkson Library.


‘Sweet treats’ / Wednesday 16 April 2025 / 2pm to 3pm / Clarkson Library

Find a book about tasty treats such as chocolate, cake or delicious fruit!

‘Child heroes’ / Wednesday 23 April 2025 / 2pm to 3pm / Clarkson Library

Find a book about a young hero or someone inspirational.


Children can choose any form of book, including picture books, junior fiction, graphic novels, non-fiction or audiobooks. Ask library staff for suggestions or help to search the catalogue.


Spaces are limited - book tickets for each session.
