Program Overview

This course teaches the fundamentals of the Vitrea advanced visualisation software. Using individual training laptops, participants receive an overview of CT post processing applications within the software (see sample course outline below). Learn to manipulate 2D and 3D images; and create and export a variety of image types through hands-on exercises, delivered by an experienced clinical applications specialist.


Who Should Attend

This course is open to all radiographers wishing to familiarise themselves with the Vitrea suite of applications. It is ideal for new users, either after, or prior to the installation of a Vitrea Solution. Or, for those wanting to expand on existing Vitrea knowledge and experience.


Sample Course Outline (subject to variation)

Day 1

MPR and 3D Imaging Basics

Anatomy Segmentation, Ortho and MSK

Distribution of Reports

Intro to CTA Workups: Aorta, EVSP, Carotids


Day 2

CTA Workups Continued: Femoral Runoff, Renal, COW

GIR & Volume Rendering

Intro to Cardiac Scanning: Calcium Score and Coronary Angiogram

Virtual Colonography


Day 3

Liver Analysis

Lung/Pulmonary Analysis

Brain Perfusion Analysis

TAVR/EP Planning


Times: Day 1 - 9am to 5pm, Day 2 - 9am to 5pm, Day 3 - 9am to 3:30pm
