ABOUT MAHJONG PRACTICE

With a rotating schedule learn how to read the tiles and the rules of the game. Receive a free soft drink, coffee, or tea with your ticket.

*101 Beginners. You will learn to read the tiles and the rules of how to play, how to set up the tiles, and how to start. You will begin to play within the hour the basic hand.

*102 Intermediates. To score in Mahjong, you will need to learn the types of hands to try and achieve. The harder the combination, the higher the points. Here, you learn to add up the points.

*103 Advance. Now that you can play and learn to score, there are techniques and strategies for winning. Like a game of chess, you want to think steps ahead. Like Poker, you can read your opponent’s actions.

MAHJONG PRACTICE EARLY BIRD TICKET $45 /person + booking fee (one week prior to session)

MAHJONG PRACTICE GENERAL TICKET $50/ person + booking fee

MAHJONG PLAY GENERAL TICKET $25/person + booking fee

Participants must register 1 day prior to Mahjong Practice and Mahjong Play. Spaces limited.

GETTING THERE | The Polish Club Ashfield is located 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Pedestrian access is only available from Liverpool Road.

TRAIN | We are conveniently only a 5 minute walk from Ashfield Train Station. Take the Brown Street Exit from the train station, and continue up Browns Street until you reach Liverpool Road. Cross the road and continue left. The destination will be on your right.

PARKING | We are delighted to welcome our guests to park their vehicles in our underground carpark. The entrance is located via 73 Norton Street. You can easily enter the club from the carpark using the lift. Alternatively, there is always plenty of street parking in the surrounding area with access to the club via the front entrance on 182 Liverpool Road.

CHECK-IN | Ensure to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event to be able to check-in at reception. Members can easily scan their members card, and guests can either scan their drivers license or become an associate member for $2. Allow 5 minutes to become a member.

DINNER AT STO LAT | Pair this event with a dinner (5:00pm – 9:00pm) reservation at Sto Lat Restaurant. Kids eat free on Thursdays – BONUS! Bookings highly recommended to avoid wait time on the day.
