CAREER TALKS - CREATIVE "From sketch to stretch"

Career Talk 2025 is a new flagship series by Elite TALKS designed to empower Vietnamese international students in Melbourne as they prepare to transition from study to the workforce.

Held monthly from May to September 2025, this four-part talk show series focuses on five key industries: Creative, AI & Data, Teaching and Healthcare. Each event will feature three invited speakers who have studied in the same field and successfully built a career — whether as employees in reputable companies or founders of their own ventures.

Career Talk is built around one core belief: that authentic stories create clarity. Our speakers won’t just share their achievements — they’ll take students behind the scenes of their real journey. From graduating university and applying for jobs, to facing rejection, adapting to industry expectations, and growing into confident professionals, they will open up about what it really takes to build a meaningful career.

Through this series, students will:

• Understand the real pathways from education to employment
• Learn what mindset shifts and skills are most valuable in their field
• Get practical advice on job seeking, networking, and professionalism
• Gain exposure to diverse role models who have walked the path before them

Career Talk 2025 isn’t just about information — it’s about building confidence, connection, and community. It gives students a space to ask questions, hear honest answers, and feel inspired to take their next step with clarity.

This aligns deeply with Elite TALKS’ mission: to use storytelling and wisdom-sharing to guide young people toward bold, informed futures.

This event isn’t just about careers—it’s about creativity with purpose. Through real stories of failure, growth, and resilience, students will gain clarity on their own paths, be inspired to embrace their identity, and learn how to stretch their potential in a competitive industry.

🌟 Annabeth Đỗ

Founder, Anna M Event Boutique | Art Instructor, AN’S ART STUDIO
A creative entrepreneur based in Melbourne, Annabeth Đỗ has over a decade of experience in event styling and visual arts. She is the founder of Anna M Event Boutique and currently teaches at AN’S ART STUDIO. Her work reflects a unique combination of artistic vision and social impact, including the development of Art Therapy programs for elderly Vietnamese Australians living with dementia. Annabeth returns to Career Talks to share her story of building a purpose-driven creative career from the ground up.

🌟 Natalie Phạm

Digital Marketing Officer | Content Creator
A graduate of RMIT University in Marketing, Natalie Phạm currently works as a Digital Marketing Officer in the education sector. She is also the creator of the TikTok channel “Cột sống tại Melbourne 🇦🇺”, which shares practical information and career advice for international students in creative fields. Natalie is a strong advocate for aligning academic study with career goals and brings a relatable perspective on how to navigate the creative job market in Australia.

🌟 Hưng Đào

Founder, Moment-Hunters Photography & Videography
With over 18 years of experience in the creative industry, Hưng Đào is known for his emotionally-driven visual storytelling across photography, videography, and post-production. As the founder of Moment-Hunters, he has led numerous campaigns for major brands and also serves as a mentor for aspiring creatives, particularly international students. His studio has become a learning hub for young people passionate about media and design, offering both professional training and career guidance.
