Content Overview
This is an intermediate course addressing the seating and wheelchair mobility needs of the adult population. We’ll translate assessment findings into product prescription and you’ll gain confidence in working through adult wheelchair prescription in a clear, step-by-step process to support successful outcomes. This session will also review the different options for power assist. We’ll consider the pros and considerations of each, focusing on both the environment/transport considerations as well as the
client’s physical capacity and wheelchair skills. We’ll use case studies to foster and cement learning.
