Join us for the CCA x Mobilise Hackathon, a weekend of innovation where technology meets social impact!
In teams, you'll tackle a real-world challenge by developing tech-driven solutions. You and your team will be given 48 hours starting from March 27th 7pm to March 29th 7pm to complete your solution. With mentors, industry resources, and a deep dive into the complexities of homelessness, you’ll gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, collaboration, and solution design🤓. No prior experience needed !
This event will kick off with an introduction online and workshops to ensure everyone starts with a strong foundation before diving into solution-building🧑💻.
We’ve booked a room for the entire day on Saturday, so you’ll have a space to collaborate in person, though remote work is also an option it is highly recommended to come in-person! Mentors will be available to guide teams on Saturday as they prototype and refine their ideas, leading up to Sunday’s final presentation session at Monash, where all teams must present in-person. Judges will award 🤩exciting prizes🤩, and yes—there will be catering on Sunday😋!

📅 Thursday, March 27 – Hackathon Launch (Online @ Mobilise Circle) (6pm-7:30pm)
- Hackathon topic released + Q&A session
- Workshop 1: Introduction to Mobilise & Homelessness in Australia
- Workshop 2: Human-Centred Design
📅 Saturday, March 29 – Working Session @ Monash University LTB G31 (9am-7pm)
- Teams collaborate and refine solutions with mentor support
- Workshop 3: Pitching and Presentation
- Can work at home but highly recommended to come in-person
📅 Sunday, March 30 – Final Presentations @ Monash University LTB G31 (12pm-2:30pm)
- Top teams present their solutions to a panel of judges
- Winners announced & event wrap-up
- Must be in-person

An email will be sent out on the 20th March providing the google form to register your team and the sign up link to the Mobilise Circle platform which contains all necessary resources, online livestream link for the introduction and timeline. Please remember to do these by midnight 25th March!
