ABOUT THIS EVENT

As part of this year’s Celestial Events series, we’re thrilled to introduce a fun group walking tour of Brisbane’s inner-city bookstores—some of which are hidden gems! 📚✨

This tour is the perfect way to meet new friends before the ball, whether you’re attending solo or with a group. Here’s what to expect:

  • Itinerary & Meeting Spot: You’ll receive these details one hour before the tour begins.
  • Small Group Size: Limited to 30 people for a smoother experience as we explore the city together.
  • Convenient Stops: All bookstores are within a 20-minute walk of each other.
  • Unguided Adventure: Start at the meeting spot with the group, move to the first stop, and then continue every 20 minutes. Stay with the group or take your time to shop—it’s up to you!

This is also a fantastic opportunity to bring along any items you’d like to trade—bracelets, trinkets, or other creations. It’s highly recommended to swap during the tour rather than at the ball.

Where will the event be hosted

All within the CBD of Brisbane - the entire tour takes 21 minutes with no stops.

What do I wear

Weather it is Illyrian leathers or a ball gown the choice is yours, however we would recommend comfortable clothing with shoes suitable for walking.

I have a heath condition and I am not sure I can take part

Check with your doctor first, this is at your own pace, 20 minute walk / shop around the city.

Is there parking

Check for street parking or public transport.

What do I bring

You don't need to bring anything, perhaps a water bottle.
