ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join us for a delightful moment of beautiful delicacies in a stunning historic setting where we can eat the prettiest sandwiches and fanciest scones. A small number of guests limited to 20 means this is a private meet and greet to get to know your fellow attendees a little better. Our program starts with pots of tea and yummy treats, meeting new friends, ice breaker questions with a dash of flower crown making on the side.

Embrace a special moment in the company of your bestie, or join us eagerly as we embark on a journey to discover and forge a lifelong bond with a new BBFF (best bookish friend forever).

WHERE SHALL WE MEET

Specialising in high-tea, located on the Gallery Level of a heritage listed Brisbane Arcade, the multi award-winning venue is one of the most individual dining experiences in Brisbane.

The high tea comes with all the trimmings, everything is lovingly made and baked in-house, including their jams and preserves, and they are utter sticklers for real butter, cream and eggs. Room with Roses has won a string of awards including being named by Vogue Living as one of the top five high tea venues in Australia.

WHAT ARE WE DINING ON DARLING

It's called a Deluxe High Tea - and it is made with love and care!

• 2 Ribbon Sandwiches (no seafood)
• 3 Warm Savouries – Chef’s Selection (no seafood)
• 2 Raspberry Scones with house-made raspberry jam and Chantilly cream
• 3 Housemade Sweets (Chef’s Selection of different flavours)
• 1 Pot of Tea or 1 Cup of Standard Coffee or 1 Soft Drink *

*Please note you can upgrade your ticket at check out to a glass of bubbles on arrival.

Our venue provider can only offer gluten-free or vegetarian options as alternatives. Please select this option if required at checkout.

TEA LEAF READING

Step into the mystical and enchanting world of tea leaf reading with our very own Vasiliky, a gifted intuitive who will be joining us at our high tea event. Known for her warm presence and remarkable insights, Vasiliky brings a touch of magic to our gathering, offering group sessions that delve into what the future may hold.

Much like a seer from the pages of a beloved fantasy novel, Vasiliky will guide attendees through the ancient art of tasseography, interpreting the delicate shapes and patterns left behind in tea leaves. Each swirl and symbol holds a story, offering unique glimpses into the paths ahead and providing gentle guidance for the year to come. *Please note these are group readings, not detailed personal readings, to ensure there is enough time for everyone to participate.

FLOWER CROWN
Create your very own Spring-inspired silk flower crown! This hands-on activity allows you to keep a beautiful keepsake that reflects the spirit of the spring court. Once complete, you'll have the perfect accessory to wear for a stunning group photo, capturing the magic of the day. A fun and memorable way to create something special to take home!
