Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services (Scenery and Props)

In this course, students will learn to source materials, use tools, and assist in audio, lighting and visual design to build and assemble stage sets. Prepare for a dynamic career in the live production industry.

Learning outcomes

Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

Communicate effectively with art and design professionals
Collaborate to create sets and props
Research and apply the history of art theory and design in the context of live production
Mix colours and use a variety of materials to create scenic art
Use lighting to create special effects for live productions
