Champagne Sunday, a Champagne Masterclass series by Anja Lewis from Canny Grapes

This fourth and last of the CG Champagne Masterclass series is dedicated to one of the rarest styles of champagne, BLANC DE NOIRS.

From the very beginning when Anja was introduced to the world of Champagne by studying intensively for the Vin de Champagne Awards back in 2016, she was curious about blanc de noirs, champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir and Meunier, the two dark skinned grape varieties in Champagne.

'Special guests' for this Masterclass will include: Champagne Bollinger PN18, Billecart-Salmon Le Rendez-vous Meunier Extra Brut, Laherte Frères Les Vignes d'Autrefois and others.

Taste six selected champagnes from small and larger Champagne houses as well as smaller producers, known as Grower Champagne.

Anja Lewis, your host for this event, is a well known Perth based Champagne enthusiast and educator who has hosted Champagne and Sparkling Wine Tasting events since 2017. In 2023 Anja received her Champagne Master certification and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for champagne with you.
